Luvo Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Luvo mobile app (the “App”) and the related website at luvo.elvarsystems.co.uk. Luvo is operated by Elvar Systems Ltd (“we”, “us”), registered in the United Kingdom.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Luvo. By using the App, you represent that you are 13 or older.
2. Your account
You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account. Keep your sign-in credentials safe and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Acceptable use
Don’t do anything illegal, harmful, or harassing inside Luvo. Don’t try to break, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the App or its infrastructure. Don’t scrape or abuse our APIs.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the destinations, pitches, photos, votes and other content you create in Luvo. By using the App, you grant us a limited licence to host, display, and process that content for the purpose of providing the service to you and your group.
5. Group content
Anything you post inside a trip is visible to other members of that trip. Think before you post.
6. Software status and changes
Features may change, break, or be removed. We’ll try to give notice for material changes, but we make no guarantee of uninterrupted service.
7. Subscriptions and payments
Luvo offers an optional paid subscription, Luvo Plus, sold as an in-app purchase through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Prices are shown in-store in your local currency before you confirm. Luvo Plus auto-renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand; you can manage or cancel it at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. All billing is handled by Apple or Google — we do not collect or store your payment-card details. We will give notice before introducing any new charge or materially changing an existing one.
8. Prices and currency conversion
Prices shown in the app are estimates. Where prices are converted from other currencies, we use Bank of England published reference exchange rates as of their most recent publication date. Rates are updated each business day.
9. Acceptable use
Luvo trips include chat messages, emoji reactions, and activity events visible to other trip members. You must not post illegal, sexually explicit, hateful, or harassing content; impersonate other people; or send unsolicited commercial messages. The full rules are set out in our Acceptable Use Policy.
You can report a chat message in-app by long-pressing it and tapping “Report”, and you can block another user by long-pressing one of their messages and tapping “Block user”, which hides that person’s messages and reactions from you in that chat. For anything you cannot report in-app, email contact@elvarsystems.co.uk. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts that breach the policy. If your account is suspended and you believe the action was incorrect, email the same address.
10. Account deletion and data export
Account deletion: You can delete your account at any time via the App settings. When you do, we immediately disable your account and revoke your sessions, then permanently erase your personal data, trip memberships, messages, reactions, and activity events after a 30-day grace period. If you change your mind within those 30 days, contact us at contact@elvarsystems.co.uk to restore your account. Some content you shared with a group may be retained or anonymised so the trip remains usable for its other members.
Data export: Under the UK GDPR (Article 15), you have the right to request a copy of your personal data. To request a data export, email contact@elvarsystems.co.uk and we will provide a downloadable copy of your data within 30 days.
11. No warranty & liability
The App is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties, and our liability for any loss arising from your use of the App is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous twelve months.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
13. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We will revise the “effective” date above and, where the change is material, will let users know in-product.
