Common issues
Account and login
- I forgot my password. Use the “Forgot password?” link on the login screen to reset it via email.
- I can’t log in with Apple/Google. Make sure you’re using the same Apple or Google account you signed up with. If you still have trouble, email us.
- I want to delete my account. In the app, go to Profile → Account → Delete account, or follow the steps on our Delete your account page. Your account is deactivated immediately and enters a 30-day grace period; after that your data is permanently deleted.
Trips and groups
- How do I create a trip? Tap the + icon from the home screen and follow the create-trip wizard. Add destinations, invite group members, and start voting.
- How do I invite someone to a trip? From the trip screen, tap Members and select “Invite”. Share the invite code or send via email.
- How do I leave a trip? Open the trip, tap Members, find yourself, and tap “Leave trip”.
Billing
- Is Luvo free? Yes — Luvo is free to download, and core trip planning, group voting, and shared itineraries are included at no cost.
- What is Luvo Plus? Luvo Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks premium features such as unlimited AI trip planning and price-drop alerts. You can subscribe from Profile → Luvo Plus in the app; current pricing and any free-trial terms are shown on that screen and in the App Store or Google Play before you confirm.
- How do I manage or cancel Luvo Plus? Manage or cancel anytime from your App Store or Google Play account settings (on iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). Your Plus features stay active until the end of the current billing period.
Content and moderation
- How do I report content? Long-press (or press and hold) the message, reaction, or activity, then tap “Report”. Explain the issue and we’ll review it.
- How do I block a user? Long-press (or press and hold) one of their chat messages and tap “Block user”. Their messages and reactions are then hidden from you in that chat. They aren’t notified.
Other
- How do I request my data? Email us at contact@elvarsystems.co.uk and we’ll send you a downloadable copy within 30 days.
- The app crashes or won’t open. Try restarting your device, updating the app to the latest version, or reinstalling it. If the problem persists, email us with details about when it crashes.
